Marian Ui Drisceoil

Hi, I’m Marian. I am a FuturFaith Minister and HSE Registered Solemniser.

I would describe myself as an enthusiastic, supportive and professional Celebrant who loves everything to do with weddings, family events and celebrations of love.

I come from the world of Education. My many years as a teacher and lecturer have made me naturally comfortable connecting with an audience, as well as a great listener, storyteller, and one-to-one collaborator.

I am particularly skilled at planning and organising and my attention to detail is exemplary. I also enjoy travel and meeting new people.

I am happily married with two sons, now both adults.

As a passionate believer in life-long learning, I undertook the Futurfaith Path to Ministry course to realise my dream of becoming a Registered Legal Solemniser. It was a wonderful learning journey for me and I am very grateful to the Team at Futurfaith for the whole experience. It was transformative.

I value inclusion and diversity and strive to embrace and honour the ideas, perspectives and wishes of my clients. Bespoke wedding ceremonies, including same-sex weddings, multi-cultural weddings, bi-lingual weddings (Irish and English language) are all part of my service.

I also conduct Funeral and End of Life Ceremonies, Naming Ceremonies, Vow Renewals and Milestone Ceremonies.

I love what I do and it is a privilege to work with couples and families to design and deliver meaningful personalised ceremonies for them.

I am based in Cork but I am available to travel countrywide.

Wedding Ceremonies and Vow Renewals can also be facilitated in the Algarve region of Portugal with prior notice.
