Hello! My name is Marie, and I’m a Registered Legal Solemniser and Celebrant with Moments That Matter Ceremonies.
For me, this work is so much more than a job - it’s a calling. I create ceremonies that are real, relaxed, and full of heart, never stiff or scripted, always a true reflection of you, your story, your people, your way.
With a background in community, mental health, and support services, I’ve spent years supporting people through life’s most important moments. That experience shaped who I am today - someone who listens deeply, without judgement, and understands how important it is to feel seen, valued, and celebrated.
I’m a people person through and through. I believe strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet, so working together feels easy, natural, and full of connection. I’ll get to know you, share the chats and laughs, and create a ceremony that feels completely and unapologetically you.
I bring warmth, humour, and big energy, along with a very organised approach (if there’s a plan to be made, I’m already on it!). At the same time, I leave space for the magic, emotion, and those unforgettable moments.
