Val was recommended to me. She is the first person I called as I love a recommendation and needless to say I did not have to look any further as I immediately felt confident and comfortable that my (now husband) and I would be in safe hands. Val is really easy to speak with and she ensures there is structure and an easy to follow consultation process where we had video calls and completed answers to questions to create a ceremony personal to us. She ensured everything was perfect and we had multiple drafts. She provided a generous number of readings, prayers of the faithful and unusual enhancements to choose from to intertwine during the beautiful personal ceremony. She is organised to ensure everything is prepared in a timely manner to take the pressure off, as the ceremony is a huge element of any wedding day. It was really the most beautiful ceremony I was ever at and it was made so personal and different. You will not just have any old wedding ceremony if you choose Val as your marriage officiant. You will not regret this choice - it was just amazing to see all the preparations come into reality on the day. Val spoke so well at the ceremony and made the atmosphere so relaxed and romantic. She also was thoughtful enough to get my daughter a gift. She gives such attention to detail and it really pays off, as this is a moment where this really matters and you need someone as organised and easy to deal with as Val. I only wish I could do it all again :-)

We worked with Val for a little over 7 months, and she wasn't not just kind and supportive, but intentional and personable. We looked forward to every call with Val, and she made sure every draft of the ceremony grew and improved on the last version until it was perfect. We'd have calls to talk about the wedding, and we'd have calls just to catch up. We really couldn't have made a better choice in celebrant. We chose someone who truly loved love, and we're so lucky and thankful we had Val. Val's ceremony interwove American and Irish traditions perfectly. We had guests coming up to us during the reception and after the wedding day who asked if Val had been a lifelong friend who was on our journey the entire time. When we say, Val is truly amazing, it's an understatement. Our day was absolutely enhanced due to Val!

Val took the upmost care in officiating our wedding. I feel such gratitude every day that we were able to share our special day with someone who cared about our ceremony as much as we did. Our ceremony was a little different than most- we flew into Ireland from Nashville, Tennessee and eloped just me and my wife. Searching for an officiant for a LGBTQ+ wedding in a different country was a little daunting. Val was the first officiant we saw with incredible reviews and we went for it. We had several zoom sessions, with Val working around our time difference, and when it came to the big day, she made it even more special for us. The integration of elements we chose along with some special surprises she put together made our wedding absolutely incredible.
