Are there set starting dates for FuturFaith's celebrant course?

No. The Path to Ministry course does not have fixed start dates or annual intake periods.

Because most of the course is completed online, you can enrol and begin your training when it suits you, rather than waiting for a September intake or a set classroom date.

Start when you are ready

Once your enrolment has been completed and you have been given access to the course platform, you can begin working through the lessons at your own pace.

This makes the course easier to fit around work, family life and other commitments. Some students prefer to make steady progress over several months, while others are able to dedicate more time and move through the online learning more quickly.

The course is self-paced

There are no weekly live classes you need to attend and no fixed academic timetable to follow.

You will work through the online lessons, quizzes and assignments in the order set out in the course. Your tutors will review assignments and provide feedback as you progress, so it is worth allowing time for that rather than trying to rush through everything at once.

Your final assessment is arranged separately

Although the course itself has no fixed start date, the practical stages happen later in your training.

Once you have completed the required online work and passed your mock call, you can move towards booking your in-person final assessment at Homestead House. That date will depend on your readiness, available assessment dates and the normal booking process.

One year of course access

New students receive one year of access to the Path to Ministry course from their start date.

That gives you time to work through the material properly, complete assignments, take on feedback and prepare for your practical assessment without needing to fit your learning around a traditional academic calendar.

In short, there is no need to wait for the next intake. You can start your Path to Ministry when you are ready.
