Answer
Being a FuturFaith Minister
Yes. FuturFaith actively supports students and graduates as they begin building their own professional presence, both during training and after graduation.
We have our own social media channels across the major platforms, and students are encouraged to follow, engage with, and make use of the content we publish throughout their training.
As you begin developing your own brand across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok, we’ll help you get started.
During and after your training, there are opportunities to collaborate with FuturFaith on content and begin building a professional-looking social media presence before you’ve even graduated. This might include content from shadowing sessions, student interviews, graduation days, course milestones, events and other parts of your training journey.
You’re also welcome to share relevant FuturFaith content on your own channels, helping you stay active while giving potential clients a clearer picture of the training and experience behind your work.
We strongly encourage students and ministers to document their own journey and, once they begin taking bookings, to share their ceremony work regularly.
Where appropriate, FuturFaith may also reshare or feature relevant content from students and ministers across our own social channels. This can help introduce your work to a wider audience and provide some additional exposure as your brand develops.
Promotion through FuturFaith is not guaranteed, however, and should complement your own marketing rather than replace it.
After graduating and joining Futur+, you’ll also receive your own profile on the FuturFaith celebrant directory.
This gives couples and families another way to discover you, learn about the ceremonies you offer and get in touch. Keeping your profile current with updated information, reviews and suitable content can help it remain useful as your practice develops.
Our team builds and maintains the profile with you, and you can request changes whenever your information or focus evolves.
A useful way to think about FuturFaith is like a training college with an ongoing professional network behind it.
We’ll help you launch, create opportunities for visibility and give you content to work with whenever you take part in graduations, shadowing sessions, interviews, events or other FuturFaith activities.
At the same time, the celebrants who build the strongest businesses are usually the ones who actively market themselves too.
That’s why the Path to Ministry course also covers areas such as personal branding, creating a professional website, using social media effectively, gathering reviews, networking with venues and suppliers and, where appropriate, using paid advertising.
FuturFaith can help give you a platform and a strong starting point. What you build from there will depend on how consistently you put yourself and your work in front of potential clients.
