Answer

The Path to Ministry course is fully self-paced, while still following a structured training journey with clear milestones.

All teaching is delivered online through the course platform, allowing you to study around your existing commitments. There are no weekly deadlines forcing you to keep up with a cohort, and you are free to pause or slow down if life intervenes.

Self-paced does not mean unsupported, however. Throughout the course, you will experience:

Structured learning stages

Each stage builds on the previous one, guiding you from foundational knowledge through to practical ceremony preparation. You are encouraged to complete stages in order so your skills develop naturally.

Ongoing tutor feedback

Assignments are reviewed by experienced FuturFaith tutors, with written feedback provided to help you refine your work. Formatting and submission support is also built into the process. This is covered in more detail in Feedback & Grading.

Guided checkpoints

Key moments such as the mock call and final assessments ensure that flexibility never compromises quality. These checkpoints confirm that you are ready to progress to the next stage.

Long-term access while enrolled

You retain access to your training materials while actively enrolled (access to the Path to Ministry course materials expires 1 year from your start date), allowing you to revisit lessons and resources as needed.

This balance of flexibility and structure allows students to complete the course in a way that fits their lives, without sacrificing the depth or integrity of the training.
