Answer

The mock call and final assessments are designed to mirror real celebrant work as closely as possible, while still being supportive and educational.

The mock call takes place online via Zoom and acts as a rehearsal rather than an exam.

During this session, you will:

Practise delivering your wedding and funeral ceremonies

You will work through the ceremonies you have already written during the course, focusing on structure, flow, tone, and presence.

Receive live guidance from tutors

Tutors may pause, redirect, or suggest adjustments to help strengthen your delivery and confidence.

Prepare for assessment conditions

The mock call helps you understand what to expect during final assessments, reducing nerves and uncertainty.

Once the mock call is successfully completed, you become eligible to book your final in-person assessments.

Final assessments take place at FuturFaith HQ in Dundalk and involve:

  • Delivering a full legal wedding ceremony,
  • Delivering a full funeral ceremony,
  • Demonstrating professionalism, clarity, and legal awareness, and
  • Using scripts you have already developed and refined during training.

This stage confirms that you are ready to officiate ceremonies independently and legally. It also allows tutors to ensure consistency and standards across all graduates.

More detail on how work is reviewed and assessed can be found on the Feedback & Grading page.
