Answer

The primary goal of assignments is learning and skill development, not perfection on the first attempt.

In some situations, you may be invited to revise or adjust an assignment if specific elements need improvement before you progress. This usually happens when a key area, such as structure, grammar, legal clarity, or tone, needs further work to ensure readiness for later stages of training.

Even when a formal resubmission is not required, many students choose to:

  • Revisit feedback and refine their scripts for personal development,
  • Apply feedback directly to later assignments or ceremonies, or
  • Use tutor comments as guidance when preparing for the mock call or final assessments.

Assignments are stepping stones, not standalone tests. The expectation is not that every script is “finished,” but that you are developing the ability to reflect, refine, and grow.

How assignments feed into later stages of training is explained further in Your Training Journey.
