Getting Started

During Training

After Graduation

Answer

Not passing your final assessment on the first attempt does not mean the end of your journey with FuturFaith.

The final assessment is there to make sure you are genuinely ready to work with real couples and families. If there are areas that need more work, you will be given clear feedback and the chance to improve before trying again.

You will receive feedback

If you do not pass, FuturFaith will explain what needs to be improved.

This may relate to areas such as:

  • The structure or wording of your ceremony
  • Your delivery, pacing or confidence
  • Legal wording or ceremony requirements
  • How you manage readers, symbolic moments or transitions
  • Preparation, presentation or overall professionalism

The aim is not to catch you out. It is to help you understand exactly what needs attention so you can come back better prepared.

Re-sitting your assessments

If you do not pass your final assessment, no need to worry! Assessment re-sits are available at a fee of €250 per re-sit.

(Note: From 1st August 2026 onward, the assessment re-sit fee will be updated to €300 per re-sit.)

This covers the time and costs involved in arranging the assessment, reviewing your work and providing further feedback.

Prior to your re-sit, you will have time to revisit the relevant course material, take on board the feedback and make the necessary improvements before completing the assessment again.

It is important to use that time properly. Do not rush straight back into another assessment without addressing the points raised.

How to prepare for a re-sit

Your feedback should guide your next steps, but it will usually help to:

  • Revisit the relevant lessons and course materials
  • Rewrite or refine the sections that need work
  • Practise delivering your ceremony aloud
  • Pay attention to timing, pauses and transitions
  • Ask questions where you are unsure about the feedback
  • Treat the re-sit as a chance to show real improvement

The most important thing is to take the feedback seriously and give yourself enough time to put it into practice.

Why FuturFaith has an assessment process

We want our graduates to leave the course able to lead ceremonies with confidence, care and professionalism.

A final assessment is not just about getting through a test. It is about showing that you can handle the responsibility of standing in front of a couple, family or room full of guests during an important life moment.

Some students need more than one attempt, and that's okay. What matters is that you learn from the feedback, improve your work and reach the required standard before graduating!
